Fresh Start for Single Mothers and their Children

The Fresh Start program seeks to break the cycle of broken relationships, generational failures and shape the hearts of the next generation by promoting positive life changing advancements, inspirational ideas and educational information.

The focus is to help the single mother accept the singleness factor and move beyond it. Teaching them ways to utilize the support and encouragement of others single mothers and the information presented in the program. The Fresh Start program promotes a mindset that the important decisions and positive life changes made by them today affect their children’s future.
A Fresh Start For Single Mothers And Their Children utilizes uniquely designed motivational tools educational guest speakers and visual demonstrations to illustrate the power of information, forgiveness and prayer! This is not your average support group!

Some of the weekly topics covered are: Budgeting and Finance Employment / Interviewing Strategies, Health and Wellness, Domestic Violence Awareness / Child Protection, Parenting on Your Own, Car Care Essentials or Self Defense in Areas With Public Transportation, Beauty Out Of Ashes, Starting A Relationship With God / Social.

NEEDS LIST FOR A Fresh Start For Single Mothers And Their ChildrenCommunity Outreach Mission ProjectA Fresh Start For Single Mothers And Their Children Community Outreach Mission Project is a unique faith based non- denominational eight+ weekprogram designed to provide an environment of positive support for singlemothers and their children in which they will find encouragement, education,spiritual enrichment, growth, hope for daily living and the future. The program seeks to break the cycle of broken relationships, generational failures and shape the hearts of the next generation by promoting positivelife changing advancements, ideas and information. The focus is to help thesingle mother accept the singleness factor and move beyond it. Teachingthem ways to utilize the support and encouragement of others single mothers and the information presented in the program.

The program promotes a mindset that the important decisions and positive life changes made by them today affect their children’s future. This is a community cooperative effort.

CURRENT NEEDS LIST:

-Sponsor a Fresh Start Session $1,500.00 / session
-Sponsor our Storage Space $45.00 / month
-Sponsor a Fresh Start Family in crisis (call for details)
-Sponsor Pizza for the Fresh Start children $50.00/ week
-Toys For Annual Christmas Party December 1st 2009
-Dinners For Meetings: Simple Main Dish for approx. 24 Ladies(we purchase pizza for the children), shampoos, lotions, soaps, cosmetics, toiletries
-Dollar Store Items for Goody Bags and Prizes
-Gift Cards: Walmart / Grocery & Drug Stores
